Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a broad range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders; Oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination and optimal use of outside resources to achieve independence; coordinates and communicates with multidisciplinary teams; participates in discharge planning toward established goals; advocates for patients; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health care; knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan; EPIC electronic charting system familiarity; responsibilities align with advanced clinical practice in speech-language pathology.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for CCC
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
