Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients across a wide range of speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders; oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to maximize independence; coordinates care with multiple disciplines and directs discharge goals established at evaluation and during episodes of care; acts as a patient advocate; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health care; requires deep knowledge of speech-language pathology with data interpretation and understanding of regulatory setting rules.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
