Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients across a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, cognition, and dysphasia disorders. Oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination and optimal use of outside resources to achieve independence; coordinates with multiple disciplines and discharge goals; serves as a patient advocate. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health care. Requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology and interpretation of data; basic understanding of relevant rules and regulations. Masters in Speech and Language Pathology with CCC or CF eligible; 1-3 years experience preferred. AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED. Travel requirements not specified.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have or qualify to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence
