Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients with a range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Supports growth and development across the lifespan, oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive and environmental well-being, and promotes patient/caregiver self-determination. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, works toward discharge goals, advocates for patients, and may operate across settings including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home health care. Requires knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and interpretation of data; experience with EPIC charting and a strong understanding of regulatory environments.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or equivalent qualification to obtain CCC
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
