Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Includes overseeing a comprehensive rehabilitation program to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization; coordinates with multiple disciplines; guides discharge goals; advocates for patients; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community-based care and home health care. Requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology and interpretation of data; includes understanding rules/regulations of the specific setting. Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have or qualify to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
