Job Summary
Provide speech and language rehabilitation as a Speech Pathologist in inpatient rehabilitation. Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identify issues and modify treatment as necessary; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrate patient progress and outcomes. Requires current state licensure or certification, SLP CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire; Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience. PRN/per diem role with Encompass Health, a national rehabilitation leader.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
