Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role providing speech and language rehabilitation services in an inpatient setting. Responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; delivering compassionate care within Encompass Health’s nationally recognized rehabilitation network; PRN/as-needed scheduling with opportunity to contribute to a supportive team and leverage state-of-the-art technology.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
