Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role focused on rehabilitation and language therapy in an inpatient setting. Responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying treatment as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; and celebrating patient milestones. Position emphasizes delivering compassionate care and utilizing therapy techniques within Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
