Job Summary
Speech Therapist evaluates and treats residents and patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities; plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy; evaluates speech and language skills in relation to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors; reviews referrals and physician orders to determine therapy indications; conducts initial evaluations and documents OASIS assessments; plans and prepares written treatment plans with input from physician, patient, and caregiver; delivers direct or rehabilitative therapy to restore communicative efficiency; benefits include in-house therapy model with education funding, PTO, and comprehensive benefits; licensed SLP required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders
- Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or the Accrediting Body
