Job Summary
Provide ongoing therapy to clients in a timely manner per physician's orders, evaluating and treating individuals with neurological disorders affecting language, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Formulate effective treatment plans per physician request, initiate ordered treatments, and communicate progress with families, physicians, and the broader health team. Maintain proper documentation adhering to state, federal, and third-party payor regulations while complying with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act. Perform other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree in Speech Pathology, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or the equivalent of minimum of one-year experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing, and The candidate must also have the ability to function independently within the department.
- Valid license in Speech Pathology in the state (where applicable) or actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for license.
