Speech Therapist - PRN

Assess and evaluate patient care needs for speech and language disorders, functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, and develop treatment plans based on diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Treat patients to communicate effectively using acceptable standards of practice, then observe, record, and report responses to treatment and condition changes to supervising nurses or physicians. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and other health care team members in areas of speech therapy where they can participate, while functioning in any home situation regardless of client demographics. Available to work a weekend rotation. Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
