Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs for speech and language disorders, functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Determine treatment plans, perform interventions to improve patient well-being, and evaluate progress. Provide services within state laws, coordinate with the health care team, and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy participation. Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Function in any home situation regardless of client demographics. Available to work a weekend rotation. Hourly pay ranges from $32.25 to $48.35.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence
- Current driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
