Speech Therapist PRN

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing therapy for residents, addressing communication disorders, swallowing safety, and cognitive functions through oral exercises and diet texture modification. Perform patient evaluations to develop treatment plans with short-term and long-term goals consistent with physician orders, while directing quality care including evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation. Provide therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, oral motor, and swallowing disorders, serving as an advocate for patients and participating in quality assurance activities. Requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, current state licensure, and experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
