Job Summary
Diagnoses and treats speech and language problems, evaluates speech and language skills as related to various factors, and conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency. Relies on experience and judgment while performing a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others, demonstrating creativity and latitude in planning and accomplishing goals. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology
- May require a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC)
- Licensure in the State of Wyoming as required
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
