Job Summary
Provide ongoing therapy to clients per physician orders, evaluate patients, and formulate effective treatment plans with referring physician approval. Initiate ordered treatments, communicate progress to families and the health team, and maintain proper documentation adhering to state, federal, and third-party payor regulations. Comply with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act and perform special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. This PRN role supports individuals with neurological disorders in Montrose, CO, within a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health agency serving the Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree in Speech Pathology, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or the equivalent of minimum of one-year experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing, and The candidate must also have the ability to function independently within the department.
- Valid license in Speech Pathology in the state (where applicable) or actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for license.
