Job Summary
Provide ongoing therapy to clients in a timely manner per physician's orders and evaluate clients to formulate effective treatment plans. Initiate ordered treatments, communicate progress with families, physicians, and the health team, and maintain appropriate documentation according to state, federal, and third-party payor regulations. Comply with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act and perform special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. This role supports individualized health care needs for older adults in Montrose, CO, within a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health agency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree in Speech Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- equivalent of minimum of one-year experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin
- Valid license in Speech Pathology in the state (where applicable)
- actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for license
- Registration with the Department of Health or eligible
- Speech Therapist

- Recommended Member of Speech Language Hearing Association
- Recommended Member of Speech Hearing Association
- Interested in geriatric rehabilitation
- 1 year(s): Experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing
