Job Summary
Assess and diagnose communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans; provide speech and language therapy; educate and support patients and families on therapy techniques and home care practices. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare and educational teams to ensure comprehensive patient support. Requires a graduate from an accredited Speech Therapy program with a bachelor’s degree and an MN license; knowledge of home health care regulations; English communication skills. Position is PRN/On-Call with a minimum availability of 6 hours per month at Pro Rehab Cassia location in Boone, IA; on-site duties at 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
