Job Summary
Provide direct, consultative, and supportive diagnostic and therapeutic services for communication and oral motor disorders to adults with traumatic brain injuries in the Adult Day Program. Conduct assessments of communication and oral motor skills needs and implement treatment plans to enhance learning potential and rehabilitation independence. Collaborate with specialty clinical disciplines, parents, and staff to develop and monitor individual program plans through monthly team meetings. Mentor speech therapy students during assessments and treatment while maintaining a trans-disciplinary team approach. Work as a PRN provider in Plainsboro, NJ, at a rate of $58.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- National Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of work experience in communication and oral motor therapy
- working with neurologically-impaired individuals
