Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and implement treatment plans for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and other physician-prescribed services. Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department. Requires a master's degree in speech-language pathology, active state license, and CCC-SLP or SLP-CF credential. Full-time day shift at Bridgton Hospital with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Competitive hourly compensation ranges from $35.00 to $43.76.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in speech-language pathology
- Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action
- Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF)
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current
- Full Time employment status
