Speech Therapist

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join rehabilitation team. Responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders using evidence-based therapeutic interventions; applying growth and development principles across the lifespan; developing and overseeing comprehensive rehabilitation plans addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental needs; promoting patient and caregiver independence by connecting with community resources; collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; aligning treatment with discharge goals and adjusting plans throughout the episode of care; serving as a patient advocate and providing compassionate, individualized support; performing additional duties to support patient outcomes and departmental operations; committed to patient-centered care that respects cultural values and family involvement. Shift: 10 Hour Days; Type: PRN; Location: Santa Fe, NM; Master’s in SLP and CCC eligibility required; 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible; compensation includes on-call safety features, shift differentials for nights/weekends, malpractice insurance, education/reimbursement options, and regional differential for Northern New Mexico. The role is within Presbyterian Healthcare Services and associated with EPIC charting and wellness programs.
