Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist to join Presbyterian Healthcare Services' rehabilitation team. Evaluate and treat patients across speech, language, hearing, cognition, and dysphagia disorders using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation plans addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental needs. Promote patient and caregiver independence by connecting to resources. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other team members. Align treatment with discharge goals and adjust plans throughout the episode of care. Serve as a dedicated patient advocate delivering compassionate, individualized support and advocating for patients’ wishes. Position emphasizes patient-centered care with opportunities for growth, shift differentials for nights/weekends, and access to wellness programs. This is a PRN, part-time role based in Santa Fe, NM, with responsibilities including evaluating and treating across diverse clinical settings and contributing to interprofessional care.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible
- 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
