Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders using evidence-based therapeutic interventions; develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation plans addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental needs; promote caregiver independence by connecting patients with community resources; collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs and PTs; align treatment with discharge goals and adjust plans across episodes of care; advocate for patient wishes, and contribute to a supportive, culturally sensitive care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
