Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Presbyterian's rehabilitation team as a per-diem, part-time SLP. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders using evidence-based interventions; applying growth and development principles across the lifespan; developing and overseeing comprehensive rehabilitation plans addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental needs; promoting independence by connecting patients with community resources; collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists; aligning treatment with discharge goals and adjusting plans as needed; advocating for patients and families; and performing duties to support patient outcomes and department operations. The role offers educational and career development options, tuition/certification reimbursement, safety resources, shift differentials for nights/weekends, malpractice liability insurance, and a differential for Northern New Mexico. Eligible candidates typically hold a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC or be eligible to obtain it; 1-3 years of experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible.
Required Qualifications

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
