Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders; develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation plans; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists; advocate for patient and caregiver independence; participate in interdisciplinary care and discharge planning; eligibility for tuition/certification reimbursement; 10-hour day shifts; PRN opportunity within Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Northern New Mexico region; emphasis on patient-centered care and culturally sensitive practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- 1-3 years experience or CF eligible
- ASHA credentialing or eligibility
- CPR/Basic life support may be implied by healthcare setting
- State licensure required or pending licensing
