Job Summary
Design individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' speech and communication abilities. Deliver effective rehab services to address swallowing disorders and remediate deficits while training patients and caregivers on skills for independence. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and execute comprehensive care plans across skilled nursing, home-based, and outpatient settings. Adapt to diverse patient needs and manage daily tasks ranging from equipment maintenance to meeting reporting.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
