Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders in patients across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home settings. Deliver direct therapy focused on restoring speech, swallowing, and communication abilities while training patients and caregivers to promote independence. Collaborate with peers to coordinate referrals and manage daily operational tasks including equipment maintenance and meeting reporting. Work within a clinical mentorship program that supports continuous professional development through free continuing education credits.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
