Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication therapy plans for patients across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Deliver direct services to address swallowing disorders, communication deficits, and rehabilitation needs while training patients and caregivers to promote independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals and ensure efficient delivery of rehab services. Adapt treatment approaches to diverse patient needs and settings, balancing clinical work with equipment maintenance and administrative reporting.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
