Job Summary
Design effective rehab service plans and execute them to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech or swallowing disorders. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers to make necessary referrals. Adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing centers, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings. Manage daily tasks including equipment cleaning and reporting to meetings. This role supports Powerback's mission to improve lives for older adults through personalized therapy in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
