Job Summary
Conduct speech and swallowing therapy to help patients communicate, diminish deficits, and restore independence. Design and execute individualized rehabilitation plans while training patients and caregivers on necessary skills. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and manage equipment maintenance alongside clinical duties. Report progress during meetings and adapt services to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, home care, and outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
