Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders, focusing on swallowing, communication, and independence training. Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and peers to deliver effective rehabilitation services across skilled nursing, home-based, and outpatient settings. Train patients and families on skills to promote productivity while adapting to diverse patient needs and settings. Participate in equipment maintenance, reporting, and team meetings to support efficient service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
