Job Summary
Design individualized rehabilitation plans to address speech, swallowing, and communication disorders, then execute these programs to restore and enhance patient abilities. Train patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence while collaborating with peers to make necessary referrals. Adapt to diverse patient needs across various settings, managing daily tasks from equipment maintenance to reporting meetings. Work with patients to diminish deficits and achieve effective, efficient delivery of rehab services.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
