Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders and deficits in patients across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home settings. Deliver direct therapy focused on restoring speech, swallowing, and communication abilities while training patients and caregivers to promote independence. Collaborate with peers to coordinate referrals and manage equipment logistics, adapting daily routines to the specific needs of each individual. Participate in team meetings and reporting while utilizing the Clinical Mentorship Program to support continuous professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
