Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders affecting swallowing and speech. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers to make necessary referrals. Manage daily rehab service delivery across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, and home-based care settings. Adapt to diverse patient needs and maintain equipment and documentation throughout the day. Join a team supporting older adults and children through personalized therapy in outpatient clinics and home environments.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
