Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy services to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders. Design individualized rehab plans and execute them with patients to restore and enhance speech abilities. Train patients and caregivers on skills promoting independence while collaborating with peers for referrals. Manage daily tasks including equipment cleaning and reporting to meetings. Work across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
