Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders affecting swallowing and speech. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers for referrals. Manage daily rehab service delivery across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Adapt to diverse patient needs through varied work environments ranging from equipment maintenance to meeting reporting.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
