Job Summary
Design and execute rehabilitation plans to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech or swallowing disorders. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers for referrals. Adapt to diverse settings and settings by performing tasks ranging from equipment cleaning to reporting meetings. Deliver effective and efficient rehab services across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based care environments.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
