Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their abilities. Deliver rehab services focused on communication, swallowing, and remediation of disorders while training patients and caregivers on skills for independence. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Manage daily tasks including equipment maintenance and reporting to meetings. Join a team supporting older adults through clinical mentorship and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
