Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders and deficits in patients. Deliver rehab services by teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and ensure effective, efficient delivery of care across skilled nursing, assisted living, and home-based settings. Adapt to diverse patient needs while managing tasks ranging from equipment cleaning to reporting meetings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
