Job Summary
Design and execute rehabilitation plans to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech or swallowing disorders. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers for referrals. Manage daily operations including equipment cleaning, reporting, and meetings across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings. Work with patients to restore and enhance their speech and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
