Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy sessions to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders. Design individualized rehab programs that restore and enhance speech and communication abilities. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers for referrals. Manage daily operations including equipment cleaning, reporting, and meeting participation. Work with older adults across skilled nursing centers, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association", "Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
