Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy services to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders or deficits. Design individualized rehab plans and execute them with patients while training them and caregivers on skills to promote independence. Collaborate with peers, make referrals, and adapt to diverse settings ranging from skilled nursing centers to home-based care. Manage daily tasks including equipment cleaning and reporting to meetings. Work as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a Master's degree in a field consistent with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
