Job Summary
Design individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' speech and communication abilities while addressing swallowing disorders. Deliver effective rehab services by teaching patients and caregivers skills to promote independence, manage equipment, and execute treatment plans. Collaborate with peers on referrals and adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
