Job Summary
Design and execute rehabilitation plans to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech and swallowing disorders. Deliver effective rehab services by training patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and adapt care to individual patient needs across various settings. Manage daily tasks including equipment maintenance and reporting while maintaining a focus on restoring speech and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
