Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient abilities while addressing swallowing disorders. Deliver direct therapy services that train patients and caregivers on skills promoting independence, while collaborating with peers to make necessary referrals. Manage daily operations including equipment maintenance, meeting reporting, and adapting care to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home settings.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
