Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication rehabilitation plans for patients across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home settings. Deliver direct therapy to address swallowing disorders, communication deficits, and speech impediments while training patients and caregivers to promote independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals and manage daily operational tasks including equipment maintenance and clinical reporting. Support patient progress through adaptive, personalized programs that restore and enhance speech abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
