Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and swallowing rehabilitation plans to restore communication and independence for older adults. Deliver direct therapy sessions while training patients and caregivers on skills to promote productivity. Collaborate with peers, make referrals for comprehensive care, and manage daily logistics including equipment maintenance and meeting reporting. Work across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based settings. This role supports the Powerback mission to help older adults stay active and thrive through personalized rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
