Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' abilities across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Deliver direct therapy focused on communication, swallowing, and remediation of disorders while training patients and caregivers to promote independence. Collaborate with peers to coordinate referrals and manage equipment logistics, reporting, and meetings. This role supports the broader mission of helping older adults stay active and thrive within Powerback's network of care facilities.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
