Job Summary
Assess patient care needs for speech and language disorders, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to develop treatment plans and deliver interventions that improve patient well-being. Evaluate functional ability using diagnostic tests, treat patients to communicate effectively, and observe treatment responses to report changes to supervising nurses or physicians. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy participation while adhering to state laws and care plans. Requires a state license, current driver's license, and weekend rotation availability. Pay ranges from $43.60 to $65.40 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence
- Current driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
