Job Summary
Responsible for providing therapeutic services, including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions, in an interdisciplinary environment. Must evaluate patients' speech and swallowing, develop treatment plans, and record progress in electronic medical records. Requires strong evaluation skills, ability to instruct and guide patients and families, and adherence to ethical standards. Professional development and teamwork are encouraged within an inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- Licensed by the state of South Carolina Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Examiners
- Active certification with ASHA
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS preferred
