Job Summary
PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for Skyline Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fountain, CO. On-site role assessing and treating residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders; developing and implementing individualized therapy plans; delivering therapy interventions; educating residents, families, and staff; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; monitoring progress and documenting outcomes; contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation department. Requires Master’s degree in SLP, CO license, and EMR proficiency; CCC-SLP preferred; PRN scheduling with flexible hours; prior SNF/rehabilitation experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-centered approach
- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis as needed
- Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical records (EMRs)
